This is Virginian songwriter Devon Sproule and her husband Paul Curreri performing "Stop By Anytime" on Later With Jools Holland. A very simple yet powerful love song from her new "Keep Your Silver Shined" CD. I work nights in a television studio and used to come home in the morning to find absolutely nothing interesting to watch on television. The last thing I wanted to see was more commercials. And I'm not really interested in watching talk shows and soap operas. Then I discovered the commercial free music channel RAVE. HD quality video and pretty much perfect 5.1 sound. A few times a week they run "Later With Jools Holland" in the morning. Jools has great taste in music and each show runs the gamut from pop, rock, folk, Celtic, African, to Joanna Newsome. This is from my new record, Don't Hurry for Heaven. I made the video during a week off in Coventry, England. This is the third little clippy movie I've made, previous ones being for Paul & Matt Curreri.

On Tuesday 31st July Devon Sproule stood in at short notice & performed a quite lovely set of mostly her own penned songs but also a few favourite covers such as The Beatles "The Night Before" before a throng of men, women and children in the lovely Castle Gardens in Lewes on a Solar Powered PA System. I fell in love with Devon straight away, her song "Keep The Silver Shined" is quite lovely. Here she performs with a smile "Let's Go Out" in the English Summer Sunshine.
