This is a demo version of one of the earliest Diesel Therapy instrumentals, as yet unrecorded. It has been a favourite of our electric sets for a number of years now. We love the twin guitar, guitar/mandolin work of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. This tune is definitely a nod in that direction. We wanted a title containing the word 'rag'; we came up with an expression from the north of England meaning to lose ones temper.

(Danny Holmes - copyright control) This is this brand new tune written by Danny, played on Guitar and Dobro. It has a celtic ring to it; unsurprising as it was written near Achiltiebuie in the Scottish Highlands. It is a nice twist to have these original tunes, written here in the UK, played on dobro which is essentially an American instrument. They are played with a nod to our own heritage and a wink to the Bluegrass tradition. For the train spotters among you, Danny plays a Lonnie Donegan model Martin 000-28 guitar and Jim plays a 70s Dobro on this video. Hope you like it!
