This is me DJing on a float for the "Kinetic Movement Center" in the annual "parade of lights" parade. My freind Tindel Jordan ownes this Dancing Studio where she Teaches dance. The Float was fortunate to have won "best overall" wich came with a big trophie. It was also alot of fun

Water is crucial to human existence. As a resource, it flows purely from the depths and heights of our planet, and yet it is subject to the follies of humankind: wars, conflicts, population, waste and reclamation. In the urban environment water falls from the sky and we open the tap; little thought is given to the nature and critical management of water. WaterWall is a sonic sculpture of tuned metal bowls, plates and sluices that are amplified and distributed to an array of speakers in the walkway. The acoustic sound, the kinetic movement of the water on the sculpture and the sonic events create a musical, spacial, sculptural and theatrical link to the urban experience of water.

Benefiet Madagascar rockt en swingt Door: Andre Weststrate - 15 mei 2008 UTRECHT -- Voor de tweede keer organiseerde Kolokolo vanavond in het ACU aan de Voorstraat in Utrecht een benefietconcert voor Madagascar. Kolokolo is een onderdeel van studievereniging Storm (faculteit Milieuwetenschappen) en zij haalden met deze avond ruim 500 euro op voor hun goede doel van de avond: Azafadi. Azafadi is een NGO die zich op het Afrikaanse eiland inzet om de bevolking te helpen met het opzetten van duurzame en milieuvriendelijke projecten. Volgens Suzanne Maas van Kolokolo is er op Madagascar een grote biodiversiteit en veel armoede. "Azafadi is daar heel bewust en goed mee bezig. Het is lastig om die twee belangen te verenigen." Ondertussen maakt de band All On Black zich klaar voor hun optreden. Zanger Ivo grapt dat de band mee doet om een grote snelweg door het oerwoud te bekostigen. Een zenuwachtig meisje van de organisatie komt de band halen en de heren slenteren richting het podium. Ze zetten een strakke show neer en het publiek vindt het prachtig. Naast All On Black treden ook de bands Golden Receivers, John F. Dennedy Munk, The Kinetic Movement en het DJ duo June Miller op. Door het lekkere weer blijft aanvankelijk de drukte van vorig jaar een beetje uit. Maas is met bijna 100 betalende bezoekers toch meer dan tevreden. Tot ver na de laatste tonen van de bands danst en springt men op de muziek van June Miller die door het knusse zaaltje schalt.
